Wow, it's been a while. So long, in fact you had to listen to the wifey's rants and complaints in between my posts here.
I just went back to back on some fill-in issues of Batgirl and Robin. I'm in between periods before I start on the next fill-in issue of Batgirl so I'm posting again.
The last issue of Robin was a doozy boy-howdy. My sleeping schedule was totally screwed from so many all-nighters. Working for DC has always meant a lot of hard work. More so than any other company. Not sure why. It's very, very stressful and always pushes me to my limits. Aaaah, but I can't ask for more. Every time I do work for the folks at DC, my art always improves afterwards. After these issues, I feel I've hit another level again. Bonus! Makes me happy. The sleeping schedule is killing me. I'm not 20 anymore... ah, where'd my youth go? Someone please buy me some Geritol and a nice big box of Depends.
Worked on BLANK again. This project got put on hold when I got slammed by DC. It feels good to work on BLANK again. Relaxing. But man, I had to kinda relearn my "manga" style. I used to be able to switch back and forth between drawing in the American Comics stye and "manga" style without a hitch. Must be the lack of vitamins. Where's that bottle of Geritol?
Reading through the plot of BLANK, I feel like changing it(yet again). I am sooooo noncommitted to any plotline. Such is my suck ass writing ability. It's my adlt ADD kicking in again!
OK, enough rants! Back to the salt mines!
