Hi! Wow, it's been a while, huh? Yeah. It has!

What's been going on with you? Things are pretty hectic here at the Mhan Homestead, but you kinda already knew that, huh?

Just got back from Otakon. It's my first one. My first anime/manga con even. Well, I've been to Katsucon once. Oh and AnimeUSA twice, but this was the first one of that size. Wow. I mean, really, WOW! It was overwhelming. All that I can say is THANK GOD for Japanese character designers! Amen! I've never seen so many scantily clad nubile (underaged) cosplayers in my life. If I were a few years younger.... Well, actually, I'd still do nothing but gawk... :) hahahaha! Love you, honey!

Sorry to all of the people who went looking for me but didn't see me there! (I know there were a couple) Sorry!

Oh, yeah, I did a presentation for BLANK as well as a panel for TOKYOPOP's OEL mangas.

I think they went well, even though I kept drawing a blank when I was handed the mic. I was thinking about busting out a rap, but it probably wouldn't all that amusing. I'm surprised by my editor, Tim Beedle's ability to MC. Damn, he's good! He drawing in the crowd, who were quickly shoo'ed away when I started to talk. Oh, I think I said, "ur.. ummm... ahhh..." more than anything else. Especially in response to the dreaded question: "What is BLANK about?"
How the hell am I supposed to know??? What, do you think I'm the writer or something??? Oh... I am? Oh, yeah. I am... damn.

Actually, the book is pretty complicated to describe. Not that it really is, but it's hard to describe it without giving the story away. As Tim says, "The beauty of BLANK is that it fails to fall into any catagory." Which is a gracious thing to say. I think, "That Pop Mhan doesn't know how to write." would be more truthful. :) hahaha

If anyone of you were actually there at the panel, you'd remember that "T&A" became my default answer for any questions BLANK related. Hahaha, sorry. My mind kept going blank when I was handed the mic. It was like: "Here, talk about BLANK." "Uhhh, T&A?" "What do you like most about drawing BLANK?" "Uhhh, T&A?" hahaha!

So, what else, what else? Ummm, oh yeah! The house searching is killing me. NOthing about it is going according to plan. It really sucks. :) I hate making life altering decisions, but it seems like those are the only ones presenting themselves nowadays. We can't seem to find anyone to buy the house, even though it's the cheapest one in the neighborhood. It's really weird. The house is really nice, but buyers are being crazy cautious. We've got people who want to rent, but I kinda don't want to deal with the headaches of renting to someone. I've got my fingers crossed for a solution within this week. This whole house thing has been going on for FAR too LONG!

Batgirl? Yeah, it's going swimmingly. Downstream, that is! Hah! All of the distractions has been putting a strain on my Batgirl time. It's already on a tight schedule and I haven't been doing my part to put it on schedule. I have the potential to, but such is life... By the time I finish moving, my stint on Batgirl will be over.

BLANK is suffering as well. What can I say? Juggling two books is hard. :)

So? Yeah, it's been a crazy couple a months, but there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Here's hoping we can make it out in one piece! YeeeeeeeHAAW!

I'll try to update more often in the future. Oh yeah, and stray into stupid tangents too.
